Question: Will scar tissue from having a brain tumor removed cause trouble. Forgetfulness, confusion, headaches,etc.. And what is the treatment
Answer: Dear Teresa The scar tissue itself usually will not cause the symptoms you mentioned. Most likely the tumor or it's residual will be the cause of the cognitive defects. Another possibilty for the symptoms would be post-operative seizure activity. Follow-up with a neurosurgeon or neurologists would be the best course of action.
