I have persistent redness of my left and right cheeks and I'm sure it is subtype 1 of rosacea as I don't really have bumps or sweelling or anything. My doctor told me to see a dermatologist for a biopsy. He said to make the appt. soon because it looks vascular, I dont know what that means. I cleaned homes for about 10 years, and my knees are very calloused. The skin is not raise and flaky, but it is excessively rough and darkly pigmented. I have medium colored skin. Is there a proceedure that could remove these areas of skin? Also, it may be helpful to know that my skin tends to darken with any type of scarring or damage.
