In light of the recent study regarding fosamax, should I keep taking it? I have been taking it since 2000. ...answer I have arthritis of the spine with chronic pain. I am trying to find a doctor who takes payments based on income. I am not employed and husband is disabled. My medical doctor gives me pain medication but does not help. My pain is constant and never goes away , just varying degrees....answer I was wondering if there were any clinical studies being down in this area on arthertice....answer I don't really know who this needs to be directed to but here is it. I am 31-yrs. old and have pain all over the body. I had been told that I have Osteoarthritis and Neuropathy but the medicines for it just doesn't help with the pain. It seems like the only thing that will help with the pain is heating pads, massage and being in a swimming pool. It is very hard to do anything for the pain. The pain gets to be so bad at times that I get sick to my stomach, can't eat and it even affects my sleep. I seriously think that it is something else and would really like to find out what. ...answer It's my mom. She is having pain on both shoulders and this disturbs her sleep now. She practically wakes up because of the pain. She was taking Myonal and Celebrex (for her arthritis) and we have been applying heat on her shoulders because it relieves her temporarily. We suspect that she might have fibromyalga. Do we go to a rheumatologist or a pain management doctor? ...answer Thank you for the referral to a Rheumatologist. Does the NEA clinic have a Rheumatologist? My insurance only covers NEA doctors. ...answer I have this horrible pain in my right side. It feels like a muscle spasm at times. I have had x-rays and cat scans done but nothing has ever showed up. This has lasted about 5 months now. I know that when I get out playing with my kids it will start hurting. A day at work makes it hurt. Sometimes sitting at my kitchen table makes it hurt. I have a physican but she really doesn't know what it is. And oh, its NOT gas! I need help, can you give any suggestions?...answer I have cronic pain and burning in my elbows and chronic pain in my legs. I also have trouble sleeping. I went through a very hard time this summer with my son and even though things are better with him, I am not the same. I take AmbienCR to sleep (I have never had sleeping problems)and Lexapro (I have been on since summer) which helps but I have horrible headaches and Just dont feel good! I work as an IT tech at a bank for 15 years and now, when I get home from work, I am exhausted, which is not normal for me. I have read alot on Fibromyalgia but and I think maybe I need to see a doctor that is more knowledgeable to these symptoms....answer I want to find a doctor in Jonesboro that treats patients for fibromyalgia & hypermobility joint syndrome. I have a lot of pain, which has gotten better with the use of Neurontin, but I want to find a family doctor that has experience with treating these conditions. Thank You!...answer My adult daughter suffers from severe intermittent neck pain and fatigue that interfere with her everyday activities. She cannot get a doctor to take her symptoms seriously. What kind of tests should be carried out to make a diagnosis for her?...answer
