I am having arthroscopic shoulder surgery and I need to know how long I will be away from work...answer does orthopedics take care of foot fractures?...answer I have back pain located between the bottom of right shoulder blade and spine. I do not suffer numbness, tingling, loss of muscular strength or loss of flexibility. The random pain is focused to that one area. Sometimes, exercise and stretching will give relief. While lifting or playing golf may irritate. I went to a chiropractor last fall who gave me some relief from muscle spasms that were occuring. He took an xray and said I had a detached rib??? I play quite a bit of golf and my job keeps me sitting at a computer most of the day. I thought I would give myself enough time to heal but the problem remains(even though it feels somewhat better). Dr. Scott Hoke is my family doctor. Dr. David Phillips(friend) told me to call Scott and get a CT MR. I thought I would try this venue before taking anyone's time. Thank you- Bruce ...answer I fell on my patio 6 weeks ago. I landed on my extended right hand. I have a lot of pain in my right shoulder, especially when trying to sleep. I think I tore my rotator cuff. I have been using heat and ibuprofen for pain relief but it is not very effective. I have not seen a doctor yet. Will I need surgery? If not, how long will this injury take to heal?...answer I have sharp pains in the joint of the ball of my foot when I walk. I was wondering what this might be?...answer Occasionally, at night I wake up to use the bathroom and start to urinate and it stops. I am a 50 year old female. I need to urinate really bad but nothing will come out. I get up and walk around and wiggle and eventually it will triggle a little bit then stop then finally it will start to flow. I have yearly gyn. checkups. This doesn't happen every night but has been going on for about 3 years. I take Tamoxifen for Lobular carcinoma insitu. This has only happened once during the day. I am 56 years old and in pain most of the time.My question is how fast does this disease progress and how long will I be able to work..I have it in my knees, shoulders ,hands and now in my back..If you can answer this or estimate for me I would appereciate it very much.....answer im 68 years old ive had back surgery and hip surgery im still in major pain i was always on the go have a heart device so they cant do a mri. They cant find anything wrong do you have any suggestions what it could be? help need my life back this isnt living! thank you! patty...answer yes, i would like to know what would a diagnosis code be for a fracture (L) clavicle collar bone be.....answer I fell on my elbow about 5 weeks ago. It is still sensitive to direct pressure, but otherwise pain-free. There are no signs of swelling, but the joint feels slightly "bumpy" compared to the other elbow. Should I wait a few more weeks to see how things go, or have it looked at by my family doctor? ...answer
